On June the 5th, 2017, President Tadeusz Rybak took part in a Ministry of Economic Development conference held in Warsaw. This was the first conference on the 2030 Agenda. The Ministry of Economic Development is responsible for its implementation on a national level. The document sets out the action plans to be taken by countries for shaping development policies and ensuring social and economic cohesion, which take into account environmental factors on a national, regional and local scale.

Secretary of State, Jerzy Kwieciński, presented the Polish perspective on the actions which were expressed in the Strategy for the benefit of Sustainable Development. The primary objective of the 2030 Agenda comprises economic, social, environmental and territorial sustainable development across the entire country. The goal of the "2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development - goals for the World, challenge for the country and everyone's responsibility" event was to promote Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and to improve awareness of the challenges indicated in the UN Resolution signed by 193 countries in 2015.
