Mostostal Pulawy S.A. for the second time took part in the next edition of Seminary "Building process nowadays and tomorrow" and yacht raceT4B CUP 2008 which were organized by T4B Sp. z o.o. in Croatia on 14-19 September 2008. Together with the representation of our company, top management of the biggest building, development, design and investment companies has taken part in this event. Together there were 20 representations from this companies.

 

The Seminary was held under the honorable patronage of Robert Dziwinski – The General Inspector of Building Control. Mr. Dziwinski was also the founder of cups for the yacht race winners in category up to 40 ft. This category appeared to be lucky for teams from our company – Mostostal Pulawy Team I was the winner of the first place in the category up to 40 ft and the winner of the third place in the same category turned out to be Mostostal Pulawy Team II.

The honorable guest of the regatta was captain Krzysztof Baranowski– Polish sailor, who circumnavigated the Earth twice during his single- handed voyages. He was also the initiator of three yachts’ buildings : "Polonez", "Pogoria" and "Fryderyk Chopin". Capt. Baranowski was also founding father of "School under Sails". Thanks to this great person every evening was full of interesting stories and amazing experiences.

This year’s Seminary was rich in great lecturers and interesting debates among the participants. As every year during the regatta everyone could observe a stiff competition of sailors. There were also numerous attractions like: bathing in the sea, little pontoons’ race, searching of the boatswain’s treasure, tug-of-war, singing of sailor songs, the party with music of DJ Krzysztof , sightseeing of Croatia. The first-time participants of the regatta had an occasion to take part in Sailor’s Baptism.

This yacht racing started in beautiful town in Central Dalmatia, at the coast of Adriatic Sea – Trogir . The route of regatta was conducted among the most famous islands of Croatia: Brac, Hvar, Vis and Solta. The closing ceremony of the T4B CUP 2008 took place in Trogir, in The Kamerlengo Fortless. The cups were given to the winners and beautiful fireworks appeared at the end of the ceremony.
