The 52nd Edition of Col. W.F. Skopenko International Cycle Race of Polish-Ukrainian Friendship was held on June 2-8th. The Race consisted of eight stages. The last eighth stage of road cycle racing (59.5 km, 35 laps of 1700m each) was organised in Pulawy.
Over 100 cyclers took part in the Race, from 23 teams from Ukraine, Russia and Poland, including the team sponsored by our Company, Sports Club Pogon Mostostal Pulawy . The winner of the Race was a rider from Pogon Mostostal Pulawy, Piotr Krajewski, ranked the first in the final individual classification. He was also awarded the title of the most active rider of the Race. In the team classification the Pulawy team was ranked at a good 4th position.
The Race was accompanied by an all-Polish road cycle racing, the City Major's Cup in the junior category, won without question by Rafal Warda, also a cycler from Pogon Mostostal Pulawy.
