On September 17th, 2007 Mostostal Pulawy SA signed a new contract with ZCh ZACHEM S.A. - part of the Chemical Group Ciech. The contract is about the extension of the TDI (toluene-diisocyanate) plant and the general contractor will be our company.
TDI as a component is used for production of flexible polyurethane foams, widely used in may industrial branches, such as: furniture industry (mattresses, covering), motor industry (seats, bumpers), textile industry (warming-up), cosmetic industry (bath sponges) and building industry (insulation, adhesives, glues).
The extension will improve the production capacity from 60.000 to 75.000 tons per year.
The designing part of this project will be carried out by PROZAP and should be completed till the end of this year. From the beginning of next year (2008) the main works that are to performed by Mostostal Pulawy SA will start and should be completed till December 31st.
Predicted total net worth of the contract is PLN 70 Mio.
